Residents and Businesses hate CollegeTown. You should too!

Many Fullerton residents and businessowners have expressed their frustration to City staff.  Their comments were published with the Staff Report submitted to the Planning Commission for the February 10, 2016 meeting and are included below.

In addition to attending the meetings, it is extremely important that you, too, send e-mails to City staff as well as the City Council:

More High-Density Residential Development

Tired of all the high-rise apartment buildings going up all over town?  Collegetown would potentially bring 4,340 new dwelling units grouped in numerous high rises.

Traffic Nightmare

Collegetown would eliminate the intersection of Commonwealth and Nutwood, causing a permanent worse-than-usual traffic nightmare on all surrounding streets.

Here is the proposed arrangement.  Intersection gone, replaced with grass.  Pages from 02 PC Item #2 - PRJ13-00111 - CollegeTown Specific Plan - Draft CollegeTown Specific Plan-3

Everyone who currently uses Nutwood Avenue from the west to access the 57 Freeway will be forced to use Yorba Linda Blvd. or Chapman Ave. which are already jammed full of cars.

JUST SAY NO!
